Please disregard my question- I figured it out.
dc50093MemberDavid, please disregard my last question. I mistakenly placed your code snippet in max-width: 1023px. Once I moved it to max-width: 767px everything worked beautifully. Thanks again for your help!
dc50093MemberDavid, your solution worked nicely for me- thank you. I have a small issue with one of the pages that I'm using witha two column structure where the columns are displaying side by side instead of stacking in phone views. My code within the main content area looks like this:
<div class="one-half first">xxxx</div>
<div class="one-half">xxxx</div>It was stacking one column on top of the other when viewed on phones prior to the application of the fix you provided. Now it's displaying side by side. Any way you can think of to get it to stack one on top of the other while still retaining the sidebar first layout?

November 5, 2013 at 9:26 pm in reply to: Lifestyle Pro Secondary Navigation Menu Background Color #71186dc50093MemberIt's on a local server so I can't post a link. The theme is working as it should so it's more of a modification issue. I'm simply trying to not use the default active navigation menu item white background when the home page is active. All of the other pages can use the default active white background when they are active. For the home page only I would like it to use the same color as the inactive background which is blue, green, red, mustard, etc. depending on what color is selected for the theme. So, let's say I'm using mustard as the theme color. When I'm on the home page the "Home" menu item, button if you will, is white with black text. The remaining menu items are mustard colored (because they are inactive). I simply want the home button to be mustard colored both when it's inactive and when it's active. I would like for the remaining menu items to work as normal- mustard background when inactive and white background when active.
dc50093MemberThe css changes in the tutorial are not working for me and I have a few questions. First, do we drop the code in at the very bottom of Lifestyle's style.css or do we override the pre existing rules that are found a short way up from the bottom? Either way it's not working me and there is a frame around my 1140 x 200 image. I'm building the site locally on a WAMP so I can't provide a link.
