Yes of course. I did now. Thank you!
Dan-cerMemberI still need a solution for this topic. Any available?
January 17, 2017 at 10:26 am in reply to: How get individual image-headers for each page, with special title-effect #199560Dan-cerMemberI solved it by working with widgets for text AND recent blog-posts. To have blog-excerpts as I want I'm using "Genesis featured posts" widget now.

Dan-cerMemberNow I could solve the problem by using widgets not only for text before post-excerpts but also for them: Genesis - featured posts.
Dan-cerMemberHi, SiteWriters,
I can't see your reply because it has been marked as private although I'm logged in. Please send me a mail to

RainerDan-cerMemberI got this code to add into the functions.php:
add_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_standard_loop', 5 );
That works for my front-page now. I can add some text to it as I want.
But now I found out that in other static pages, for example the FAQ-page, all content is doubled. After removing the code shown above normal view is there again.
How could I change that?
Something to modify in the code?January 14, 2017 at 1:34 am in reply to: How change color of current (active) menu-item in primary menu-bar? #199358Dan-cerMemberOK, then this topic is solved.
Thank You!!!Dan-cerMemberThank you, Victor!
The main question is, how I get categories-tab for my FAQs. At the moment I have a plugin that displays nice accordion, but without categories. There are shortcodes for it, but they don't work with my genesis-theme at the moment.
Is there any genesis-compatible plugin that has these options?January 12, 2017 at 11:18 am in reply to: How change color of current (active) menu-item in primary menu-bar? #199280Dan-cerMemberI did it with the code in my last post:
.lifestyle-pro-blue .archive-pagination li a, .lifestyle-pro-blue .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item a { color: #00C8FF; }
And this is working. Is it correct to clone a part of a code-section?
Dan-cerMemberI'm using a static pront page and also static category-pages. The reason is to be able to display individual headers for each category. To link these pages with categories, I use as custom fields
query_args cat=xy
When creating or editing a page I can chose one of 4 templates: Standard-template, Blog, Archive and Landing.
With using widgets there is the problem that I'm using special widget-title-backgrounds that don't fit. I need to have H1 - title and a text-box for an introduction, for example.
For the category-pages I could use a modified standard-template, where it is implemented a code-snipped for loop (posts), right?
For the front-page it should be the other way. Loop is already there, now I need an area for other elements.
I tried the siteorigin plugins for that. They provide adding either such elements or a blog element on any page. But that plugin is slowing down the admin-page and isn't close to genesis.
If there is nothing else I could work with it again.best regards
RainerJanuary 12, 2017 at 6:37 am in reply to: How change color of current (active) menu-item in primary menu-bar? #199265Dan-cerMemberOn that line I have
.lifestyle-pro-blue .archive-pagination li a, .lifestyle-pro-blue .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a, .lifestyle-pro-blue .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a, .lifestyle-pro-blue .nav-primary a { color: #FFFFFF; }
When I change color there, all items would be blue.
Have I to clone a part of the code and add the new color like this?
`.lifestyle-pro-blue .archive-pagination li a,
.lifestyle-pro-blue .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item a {
color: #00C8FF;
}January 7, 2017 at 4:42 am in reply to: How get individual image-headers for each page, with special title-effect #198940Dan-cerMemberI haven't "Custom fields" in my editor. Is it a plugin? Which?
January 7, 2017 at 3:44 am in reply to: How get individual image-headers for each page, with special title-effect #198933Dan-cerMemberYes thank You!
There You wrote:2. On any single post or page, create a new custom field named custom-title
How can I create that?
January 7, 2017 at 3:15 am in reply to: How get individual image-headers for each page, with special title-effect #198930Dan-cerMemberOK, it is working, except that the text isn't in center center. At the moment it is on the top of the image, so adding this?
padding-top: 50px;
January 7, 2017 at 2:55 am in reply to: How get individual image-headers for each page, with special title-effect #198928Dan-cerMemberLine 954 style.css, modify the CSS like this:
.header-image .site-description { display: block; text-indent: -9999px;
}
At the moment there is this code:
.header-image .site-description, .header-image .site-title a { display: block; text-indent: -9999px; }
You mean to delete ".header-image .site-title a" ?
January 7, 2017 at 2:50 am in reply to: How get individual image-headers for each page, with special title-effect #198927Dan-cerMemberI suggest you keep the header images the same size. Unless you can find a slider which enables you to add unique images on each single post page.
Could You recommend a slider for Genesis?
You can add the title over the header image and then filter it so you can add a unique title on every single post/page.
How can I do that? (I registered on Your WP-Sites, so may be You have a tutorial for it?)
January 7, 2017 at 2:07 am in reply to: How get individual image-headers for each page, with special title-effect #198922Dan-cerMemberYes. As it is in my website now (with the Avada theme). I want to copy that design, not using the slow "Avada slider".
January 7, 2017 at 1:57 am in reply to: How get individual image-headers for each page, with special title-effect #198920Dan-cerMemberI want to add the title manually as it is different from the post/page title.
