Well, you can see here in this post -> http://dallasheartsyou.com/little-faith-showcases-rich-spiritual-heritage/
I inserted the image into the post as well in this case, which doesn't provide the result I'm looking for. Not sure what you mean inserting the featured with the post, but I set the featured image for the post to be the same one as I inserted into the post itself. There were no other options for the featured image aside from selecting it. Ideally I'd like the featured image to show up like it does in the demo for the Going Green Pro theme, where it spans the entire width of the content container and appears above the post title, but there doesn't seem to be any option for that anywhere, so I can only assume the theme demo accomplishes this with a hook, but I'm still mostly lost for the moment when it comes to those.
Thanks for the help!

Dallas Hearts YouDallas PearceMemberYes, and that's the problem. I've set the featured image for my posts, and yet it still does not show up above the post title, or anywhere for that matter.

Dallas Hearts YouDallas PearceMemberI've been using AddThis plugins to have a welcome bar with a share button based on what social network the user came to my site from, their social share buttons at the bottom of every post, smart layers for a floating share bar, and social sign in so they can interact on my blog with one click. I was actually pretty excited this week when they finally released a plugin for the smart layers.
And you can tie all of them to your AddThis account and configure which options are shown and how they're shown, so it works out pretty well. I stopped using them for a while because of some preloading/caching issues, but they seem to have gotten all those sorted and it has minimal impact on the site speed, which is imperative for me.
