So, is there a way to have the featured image show up on my 'blog' page, but not on each individual post? Or, can I control the sizes for these? It appears that I only get 1 size choice, and of course, I would want a smaller size on a featured post page, vs a larger image on the post itself.
Seems like there should be different settings for this.
Thanks,
AJCookingDivaMemberOk, so if I change the background color, it shows up. Only problem is, on my desktop version, there is a weird 'menu' text showing up above the primary nav. This seems to be a strange discrepancy between desktop and mobile---the color settings are not the same.
Anyone understand why this is different, and how to set it up to look good on both mobile and desktop?
Thanks,
AJCookingDivaMemberThanks Cathy. I didn't change anything, though. Any ideas on how I can control colors? I don't see it anywhere.
Thx.
CookingDivaMemberSweet Jesus. Thank you! That's been killing me!! 🙂
CookingDivaMemberThanks Sandee,
I've scoured GPP & can't find any settings. Have you found anything in there? These are front page widgets on the Workstation template. (http://my.studiopress.com/themes/workstation/#demo-full)
Thanks,
AJCookingDivaMemberI'm looking to do something similar. Susan, do you have any strategies?
CookingDivaMemberGot a response from CB. This fixed it:
.top-ad .simple-social-icons {
max-width: 1072px;
margin: 0 auto;
}CookingDivaMemberThanks to you both.
wpspeak: on some of my posts, I don't have a normal 'post' area, just the visual composer--no other options. Any thoughts on that? Should I just disable visual composer? I don't think I need it now.
Tom: Thanks for the heads up. I had to format it that way for my old site. Yet another reason to say 'good riddance' to that one. I didn't realize it affects SEO. Should be all set now.
