The size of your '.header-image #title-area' and '#header .widget-area' are conflicting.
In your css, line 222, change the width to 720px and all will be fine.

Christopher HarrisMemberYou have two options...
1) edit your CSS in line 141
add 'no-repeat' to 'background: url(images/logo.png);
So it becomes: 'background: url(images/logo.png) no-repeat;'
You may also want to make your header background white... just add 'background: #ffffff;' to line 56 of your css
2) from the WP dashboard up load an image that is:
1st create an image that is 850px wide and upload it using the 'header' option under appearance.
Hope that helps.

Christopher HarrisMemberAre you looking for a designer to just setup the Crystal theme for you or do you want a total customization of the Crystal theme?
Prices will vary based up your specific needs. It might be helpful if you elaborate upon what you would like the designer/developer to do for you.

Christopher HarrisMemberWhen I inspected your website's code, the default Genesis footer is still being called.
Make sure that you have added your custom copyright info to the 'genesis_footer' Hook in Genesis Simple Hooks Plugin.
Also, be sure you check the 'Unhook genesis_do_footer() function from this hook?' box. By checking this box the default footer will not be called and only the custom code you add to the hook will display.
Hope this helps.

Christopher HarrisMemberIt is a CSS thing.
The overflow of the containing box is set to hidden.
If you edit line 643 of your css:
Change:
.entry-content {overflow: hidden;}
To:
.entry-content {overflow: visible;}

Christopher HarrisMemberYou can use the 'insert more tag' in the editor to make the brake in the post.
Place your cursor where you would like the brake then hit the 'insert more tag' button. It is the one to the left of the spell check.
Set the featured post widget to 'show content'
This will give you precise control over the text limit, but if you do not add the 'insert more tag' the whole post will show so do not forget to add that to your posts.

Christopher HarrisMemberYou can hook into elements in the loop. See the hook reference section 'loop action hooks': http://my.studiopress.com/docs/hook-reference/
Also, this visual hook guide is handy: http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/

Christopher HarrisMemberHi anitac-
That is a good suggestion.
Plugins I have considered:
1) Bookings +: http://bookings-plus.com/ - No native Authorize.net support, but the authors will code it for me for $400 in a weeks time. This one I'll probably go with unless I find a plugin that natively supports Authorize.net.
2) Wp Booking Calendar: No support for Authorize.net and pricey.
2) Check Front: non WP solution, the booking feature is as a stand alone SAS cloud solution on their servers. The plugin helps to embed in your site.
3) Bookings: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bookings/ No Authorize.net support.

Christopher HarrisMemberHi Susan-
That one is a plugin for a separate booking service that has monthly fees... http://www.checkfront.com/
We are looking for a total WP solution.
Thanks for responding.
On another note... I look forward to meeting you later today at the #genesiswp meet up in FT. Worth.

Christopher HarrisMemberHi anitac-
Thanks for your response.
I checked into the Wp Booking Calendar early this week. It does not support Authorize.net and it is quite pricy to get all the functionality we would need.
Thanks,
Christopher
