Ok - Update - something very weird happening
I added back into functions.php the
remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' );
resaved all the widgets and everything was showing ok.....but then noticed my internal pages aren't loading now. If I remove the code, they re-appear.............
At the moment the website as the code in the functions.php until someone who can work out what is going wrong can tell me
Thanks! 🙂

We are just playing with ideas and images at the moment - the one currently there is obviously not suitable, but just looking at what limitations we have.
I noticed it is on the demo as well.
CheshireMemberThanks Christoph - some things to play with 🙂
CheshireMemberHi Christoph
Sorry for the delayed reply - thanks for your help
Ive been trying to get my head around your answer......
I'll start with the header first.........
You can add smaller images in the media queries or use something like https://sridharkatakam.com/inline-logo-in-genesis/
How do i add the smaller images to the media queries? - this seems like an easier solution with less possibility of breaking later on with updates.
Thanks so much for hand holding me through this - I always like learning new coding skills, but this one is not being obvious to me! 😉
Jayne
CheshireMemberBrilliant - perfect!
Thanks so much Christoph - and I've learnt some more - thankyou!
CheshireMemberIs there a way you can just specify a full width background colour for just one widget area? I don't understand how the CSS for the Footer Widget area gives it full width colour versus just content width

CheshireMemberPerfect - did the trick! thanks
CheshireMemberHi Christoph
Thank you so much for your reply - it is really appreciated.
First off, silly me, yes, copied across the wrong lines from the functions.php
and I had missed the add_action in the front-page.php!
Awesome! Thanks!
Now to get it looking proper! 🙂
THANKS!!!!!

Is anyone able to help with CSS for the grey strip on the home page behind the footer widgets....I believe I need to set a .home.site-inner rule - but not sure what the parameters are
I haven't quite got this sorted
Thank you 🙂

Thank you so much for your response
How did you get the image to show only on the Home Page - what was the CSS you used?
I figured once I got it to show at least I could start playing around with heights and paddings etc.
I'm just wondering if it will be easier to create a new widget area under the footer and put the image in there........mirror the Home Top Widget under the 3 Column Footer Widget
Personally I think the image is just going to look out of place and not in style with their branding and dead space and have been trying to convince him not to have it......but he is adamant.
March 30, 2016 at 12:33 pm in reply to: Enterprise Pro – Footer Widget – Change light grey background colour to an image #182544CheshireMemberHello Lawriebea and Victor - thank you for your replies 🙂
No, definitely don't want it on every page (which also now explains why I couldn't pick it up exactly with Firebug)
I have put
.home.site-inner {
background-image: url(http://completefinsol.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Complete-Financial-Solutions-Homepage-Footer.jpg);
}into the Jetpack CSS Customiser, but nothing is showing....is there more I need to include for the CSS Block?
It is quite a large picture in height, so will also want the link widgets of the footer area at the top of the image (not in the middle)
Thank you so much for helping
Jayne
CheshireMemberThanks Victor - that makes sense! 🙂
CheshireMemberHi Davinder
