CeeInTxParticipant
Thanks, yes! Appreciate your checking in! I ended up kinda starting over, and removing the right header section. I wish I could figure out how to make it logo in the header be centered when it's full page, but I can live with it.
Again, thanks!
CeeInTxParticipantThank you!
CeeInTxParticipantI think you are right. But I thought there would be some kind of notice that the theme needed to be upgraded. And what's more, is, for the first time, I used the WordPress installation in the Control Panel rather than installing manually. Never again... at least without checking!
Thanks for all your help!!
CeeInTxParticipantOh, my gosh, what a ding dong! Somehow I had turned the navigation off! It goes in the header! Thanks for your help, and sorry for the idiocy!
CeeInTxParticipantIt was at 5.6. That uglier error message happens at 7.0 and above. Genesis 2.5.2 WordPress version is 5.2.2.
Thanks so much!!
CeeInTxParticipantOooo, I got excited when I saw your response, Anita, I thought that has to be it! But, no.
The error gets even uglier at PHP version 7.0 and above.

I don't speak PHP. Do you have any ideas? Thank you SOO much!
CeeInTxParticipantThanks, Susan!
I think it's confusing that you can't search in the individual forums, but only on the home page. That's what got me.
CeeInTxParticipantI would love to know as well!
September 1, 2017 at 3:43 pm in reply to: Can someone help me with the code to put an image full width in the header? #211042CeeInTxParticipantHey, Brad!
I've been wrestling with this for a couple of days.
I followed another tutorial of yours that said do it with css OR change the php function file. I tried both, but they're not working.
I'm using the Genesis Sample theme and trying to get the header image to go all the way across and be centered over the content.

Any ideas greatly appreciated!
August 24, 2017 at 1:24 pm in reply to: Portfolio Pro – Move navigation below larger header image #210741CeeInTxParticipantThanks! I ended up going to the Genesis Sample theme and using plugin, Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll.
Works fine, except the menu is not centered now.
Onward!

Very much appreciated!
April 25, 2016 at 3:39 pm in reply to: Can I line sidebar content up with specific body content? #184415CeeInTxParticipantI spoke too soon.
I don't see how to have two columns that have different widths. i.e. the first column would be about 70% and the second would be about 30%.
I guess I could do this in a table, but... ugh ...?
Thanks so much!!

Much appreciated!!

CeeInTxParticipantI found it!!! Halleluya!
in the main style.css, line 1121:
.nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu a:hover, .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu .current-menu-item > a:hover {
background-color: #222;
color: #fff;
}I had tried using the :hover search function in Firefox before but couldn't find this. But there it is!
CeeInTxParticipantThank you so much!
However, that code is not controlling that function any more. I have commented out the original css on line 1043, I've added custom code at the bottom of the main css file, I've added custom code in My Custom CSS file, I've tried adding !important...
Nothing I can find is what is actually calling for that black background and I've searched in Firebug and Inspect Element for hours.
So weird!!
Any other ideas?
Many thanks!
CeeInTxParticipantThanks, Susan! Yes, this is an old project. I've marked it resolved.
CeeInTxParticipantGordon, thanks so much for your response!
This is, indeed, unfortunate!
CeeInTxParticipantOK, I'll try again.
I can put the Custom Menu widget in the Header Right section and get a navigation menu that is wonderful.
But I don't want the navigation there on the home page, I want it down in the page a little, so I put the same Custom Menu widget in the Home-About section.
Is there any way to get that menu in the Home-About section to look like the menu in the Header Right section?
Thanks so much!!
September 11, 2015 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Modern Portfolio Pro: custom header image, responsive issue #165256CeeInTxParticipantNobody?
Is my question not clear?
I'd REALLY love some help with this!
