ParticipantHaha thanks, buddy!

ParticipantDiscovered that if you use a plugin called "Regenerate Thumbnails," it'll resolve the feature gallery conflict.

ParticipantI sure as heck did, and I'm going to sure as heck share it!! Talk about coincidences! While working with you, I moved on to another site; which required that I use a plugin called "Regenerate Thumbnails" -- Found here --> https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
I decided, at this point, it couldn't hurt to try it on this site. It worked!!!
Erik, thanks so much for hanging in there with me. I didn't even realized that had worked, until your comment!

ParticipantThat's the strange thing about it. If you notice the padding (hard to see I know) on all the images -- minus (sort of) the 1st one, the images are actually way too small. They aren't conforming to the size they were supposed to. So I went in and started re-uploading the images with a different dimension to fill up the white spare area, and that's where all the conflict has begun.
It's a real oddity -- unless I'm either drinking way too much coffee, or haven't had enough lol
The images, minus the first two, are the original dimensions that were being used when the site was on AgentPress.

ParticipantErik, I am. The site was initially with AgentPress, before the non-mobile responsive issue just became too much of a hassle, and the site was then migrated over to the Pro version -- that's when everything went wonky. I understand the required dimensions are going to be different, but for the life of me, I'm not putting two and two together on this one. I've tried every recommendation, including drafting up a sample new listing that would not have been impacted by transfering the files, and it's doing the exact same thing.

ParticipantSure can, Erik. http://soldiersfirstrealestate.com
The problem is with the images. They are not sizing properly. I've tried several different dimensions suggested in this post and in one that I created, but none work.

Participant**UPDATE** Thanks again, Dave, for the info, but it seems this has been asked before in the plugin forum, and the author of the plugin has responded by stating that featured images are handled by the theme, not the plugin.
Hopefully someone will come along and will be able to help me figure out what is causing this oddity.

ParticipantDave - thanks so much for the info. I'll go this route!

ParticipantForgive me for commenting here, but I've also posted this same question without a resolution in the general forum. Hopefully between the two, someone will see this and can help me find a resolution to what's going on.
I'm having the same exact problem, but re-sizing the above suggested dimensions does not fix the issue. I have images that are not sizing nor aligning properly.
Travdo -- did you figure out how to resolve this?
Thanks,
CC

ParticipantThanks, Ginger, for the response! The full image I typically had been setting was to 970px in width and to scale for the height, but that was before the upgrade and the site was still being ran by the original Agentpress.
However, though I figured that it was probably going to resize the images, it's not automatically doing that. It seems to just be containing whatever the original size is, so it will sometimes be larger than the padding for the archive and featured gallery on the front page, or it will be too small, like it is appearing now on the featured gallery.
I'm not sure what I'm overlooking that's causing the conflict. However, I did test one image out with a max width of 740px that you suggested. The original size was 970px and it actually popped up larger after refreshing. When I tried to revert back to its original size of 970 from 740, it appeared to slightly change in size, but would not revert back to its original size on the front end of the website.
Have any ideas? I'm clueless at this point, as I've gone so far as to flush the cache on the backend just for giggles to see what it would do LOL
Thanks, again for the response!

Participant@braddalton I will certainly tinker with that, so I can get familiar. Thanks, again, for taking the time!

ParticipantAndrea, that did it! I had added it as a new CSS rule.
Andrea, Brad -- you guys are awesome. It worked perfectly. Thank you both!

Participant@braddalton thanks for responding. The site is here
I tried the above code, but it didn't seem to work. Do you have any other suggestions?
It's actually the date and title, not just the title I was referring to earlier - sorry!
I tried Genesis Simple Edits, to see if by deleting the short code, it might coincidentally remove it from the overlay of the feature image, as well, but that also didn't work.
Thank you in advance!

ParticipantI have no solution for this, but I do like the idea, and agree that it would be an interesting customization! Personally, I would love to see this implemented.
