Oh my, Susan! I feel really dumb! Thank you for your quick response!
carolinagirl715MemberPerfect! Thank you SO much!!!
carolinagirl715Membercarolinagirl715MemberHi Brad. I used the code above in the custom code feature of Prose and deselected the featured image on the setting for Content Archives. I'm still getting two pictures. Can you help? http://www.dandelionnotes.com
Thank you!
carolinagirl715MemberHi WPSpeak! Thanks for your quick response. Actually, I put this in the Theme Settings>Header Script:
<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Handlee' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
Then, I copied the code in my initial post over to my custom CSS in Prose. Didn't work but now for some reason it is. I didn't have handlee in single quotes as you suggested in #3 above so maybe that was it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
To make this change for my subnav bar fonts, could you tell me what I need to put in my custom code or what to look for?
Thank you again! I have one strand of hair left and you have prevented me from pulling it out!
carolinagirl715MemberHi Helen,
You may want to check out Nick The Geek's Genesis Responsive Header. I used it on my site http://www.dandelionnotes.com and it works!

Hope this helps! I'm pretty new to all of this myself and understand your frustrations.

carolinagirl715MemberThank you so much! This worked! I did remove some custom code that was already there:
add_theme_support( 'genesis-structural-wraps', array( 'header', 'nav', 'subnav', 'inner', 'footer-widgets', 'footer' ) );
Is that something I need? Anyway, it looks great in Chrome & IE now. My next step is to check out the plug-in you mention above! I really, really appreciate your help!! Thank you!!!!
carolinagirl715MemberHi Wendy. I came across your discussion with Jamese. I'm having a similar issue but it's very strange. When I look at my site in Chrome, the header looks fine; however, when I pull it up in IE (latest version), the right end is chopped off and the subnav bar doesn't run the full width of the page but divides into two rows. I haven't tried inserting your code into the custom CSS yet and was wondering if you would take a look at my site first. I created the header image myself and used these dimensions: 1349 x 300 and changed to these dimensions in Appearance>Header. Do I need to insert the custom code above and redo my header for the 2000 pixel width as you mentioned above? I am a complete novice and I really appreciate your insight. Thank you.
