Brad DaltonParticipant
The latest beta version of BuddyPress is compatible with all themes so doesn't need the Genesis connect plugin installed to make it look right.
You'll find the download link at the end of the page on Trac.
There's a good video about how to setup BuddyPress 1.7 that will help you.
Brad DaltonParticipantDeactivate your plugins and see if that fixes your form.
Could be caused by using Facebook and WordPress comments at the same time.
Did you add , edit, modify any code or plugins recently?
Brad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantYou can write your own custom loop for Genesis http://wpsmith.net/2011/genesis/how-to-write-a-genesis-custom-loop-for-specific-categories-in-a-genesis-page-template/
There's a couple more artcoles on this.
Brad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantI think you'll find the answer in one of these posts:
http://wpsites.net/web-design/exclude-category-posts-page/
http://wpsites.net/web-design/remove-posts-display-home-page/
Brad DaltonParticipantThis can be customized in the child theme's style.css file to include bullets in widget areas.
Requires custom coding.
Brad DaltonParticipantCould be due to a plugin conflct. Try deactivating all plugins using the Bulk Actions.
March 28, 2013 at 3:48 am in reply to: Remove excerpts in category archive page (grid loop view) #31694Brad DaltonParticipantYou could hide them using CSS code. Not sure about the plugin settings but maybe you can also change the content limit for excerpts.
You could also do this with PHP code which is a bit more complicated.
Link to the archives please.
Brad DaltonParticipantPaste the shortcode at the end of your post or paste the PHP template tag into the after content hook using the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin or add it to a custom function.
Or grab it from Github https://gist.github.com/braddalton/5202951
Or grab it from Github https://gist.github.com/braddalton/5261488
Another option is to add an after post widget for single posts.
Brad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantNo problems adding a new tag but you may get a 404 page not found error in Google Webmaster Tools if you delete an existing tag.
Try this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/term-management-tools/
Brad DaltonParticipantAdd this to the end of your child themes style.css file:
.more-link { font-size: 14px; }
Change the 14px to anything you like.
You must have a problem with customization of the CSS code in your style.css file to cause your more links to use the h2 size.
March 28, 2013 at 1:40 am in reply to: Adding Post titles as overlay text over featured images (Minimum 2.0) #31686Brad DaltonParticipantJust change them to the genesis hooks using the visual hook guide if needed.
Brad DaltonParticipantPaste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file.
This is sample code which needs to be modified:
What i suggest you do is ask the plugin developer for the custom function which works in your child themes functions.php file because your theme doesn’t use category archive templates. ref
I would not use a plugin if its not well supported and cannot communicate with the developer.
Have you seen this plugin?
Brad DaltonParticipantStart using your native RSS feed and stop using your FeedBurner feed. At some stage they will have to offer a migration solution if they close it down.
Brad DaltonParticipantPlease paste the exact code you are using in Pastebin.com and drop the link here.
Why are you using simple hooks when the code from Nicks tutorial use custom functions?
Remove that code you added and add this to the end of your child theme functions.php file.

Or grab it from Git https://gist.github.com/braddalton/5257550
Brad DaltonParticipantGrab the body class from your source code which includes the page or post i.d and use it as the selector with the declarations you need.
Example: body class="single single-post postid-37615
So you'd use . postid-37615 { your CSS declarations }

Otherwise this forum is excellent for CSS tricks.
Here's another solution. http://jsfiddle.net/EgLKV/3/
