You're changes to helper_functions.php is of course an easier way. But in some way it seams that it's just overriding the code in the other files.

Which way is the "right" way to do it ?

I didn't mean to be snarky @Victor.

I was just pointing out that the text in the link only states, that some images may not be shown.

And yes, i'll write them at support. There shouldn't be any errors. It's also shown in their guide to installing the demo content. Then there's actually a lack of information, be course they don't write that a lot of setup is needed to get the page working as advertised in the live demo.

I'm not sure what the errors will mess up on the site, but for now it works setting up the widgets, then i'll wiat and see when the errors get in the way, and also see what support has to tell me about them.

I think you should read the link supplied @Victor, be course it is what the purpose of the demo content is. The only thing stated is, that there might be some images that be course of copyright cannot be displayed.

"You can use the theme demo content as a placeholder for staging and configuration purposes, however the original author retains the intellectual rights to this content and using it on a live website is not permitted. If the theme demo contains images that are not licensed for redistribution, those images are replaced with gray placeholder images."

And again. An install of demo content should not give me all those errors.

I'm sorry, i didn't know.

I'm not sure even that my client know this. She's a friend of mine, and we decided to just have fun together, not work-stuf, so she found another one to just do the updates of the site, but he has done something i can't express .

But as i wrote, i can't get Brad's code to work, it does not give me back my formatting.

What i think is, that it has to do with the widget that holds the featured post or page, cause as i also wrote, the pages showed at the bottom, aren't excerpts, and still all formatting is stripped ?
