    Hi cabrzama -

Yes - the plugin at the top of the page is: DW Promobar.

It's free in the WP plugins directory. You can change colors, fonts & even lets you add that nifty countdown timer - which can automatically disappear when the date has been reached.

And a BIG THANK YOU to genwrock for his kind assistance!!!

AHa - it's ok on my 15 in laptop too -

    but there's a 1/2 white space on my 21 in iMac: - here's a shot:

White Space on Genesis Slider - right hand side

So should the image be either centered or enlarged?

    Thank you.

Thanks so much - it did work!

But now there's a bit of white space on the right side - how do I get rid of that please?

    Hi -

Thank you for responding - I added your code to the CSS - however it unfortunately didn't work.

    Here's a link:

    http://www.hiddenpondtreefarm.com/HP_NEW_SITE/

The image is 1850 x 498 (which I desire) - I have the Genesis Slider setting set to that width and height too.

However it did pull in the image - but it is now "shrunk" to fit the 1140 container i think?

    What should I change please?

    Thank yo.

PS _ I just ran Regenerate Thumbnails but alas - this also didn't work

Yes - I would like to know this as well. It seems this question has been asked numerous times but not answered.

I see Brad has a tutorial on adding the Soliloquy slider at full width - but I can find nothing on makeing hte Genesis REsponsive Slider full width in Outreach.

Can someone please share their solution?

    Thanks very much.

AHh - thank you very much!

I guess my confusion is where in hte genesis hooks guide? I chose to place the code in the hook box: ‘genesis_after_content_sidebar_wrap’

This seemed to be the right place but I guess not!

    Hi Lisa -

To register the sidebar - I followed the instructions at the link you listed here: http://designsbynickthegeek.com/tutorials/add-widgeted-sidebar

Also - in following the visual hook guide - it seemed to me that the correct place in the Simple Hooks plugin would be:

    'genesis_after_content_sidebar_wrap'

With regard to registering the widget "so that it is between nav-primary and site-inner" - do you mean in hte functions.php? If so - we're the instructions on nicks site incorrect?

    Thank you.

Hi - Yes - I would like to know as well. Sorry to jump in but I saw a couple others having the same question - hoping we can all learn!

Brad - I checked out your tutorial - you are wonderful.

btw - I have the Genesis responsive slider installed on Beautiful Pro here: http://www.hiddenpondtreefarm.com/HP_NEW_SITE/

    I was hoping to model the site with a full width slider (1850 x 458) : http://www.originalginger.com/demos/seattledog/

I have registered a new sidebar widget (slider-home) in the functions.php file as well as set it to display.

Then I have added code in Genesis Hooks box: genesis-before-sidebar-wrap.

Also – got rid of the background image & the secondary nav bar.

However – something is funky somewhere – I’ve got the image size I want however it’s now pushed all the way to the right & there’s a border around it.

Anything else I should have added to the CSS to make this centered & get rid of the gray border?

    Should I change to Soliloquy?

    Thank you.

I do believe I have the code from above in the correct Genesis Hooks box: genesis-before-sidebar-wrap.

Also - got rid of the background image & the secondary nav bar.

I looked at your CSS via firebug & added that to my css as well.

However - something is funky somewhere - I've got the image size I want however it's now pushed all the way to the right & there's a border around it.

Anything else I should have added to the CSS to make this centered & get rid of the gray border?

    Thank you!

    Hi -

Thanks for your quick response! I've registered the new sidebar widget - however my slider is now below the navs & the "background" image.

Here's the link to the homepage: http://www.hiddenpondtreefarm.com/HP_NEW_SITE/

How to I make it display directly under the main nav at full width (1850 x 498) please?

Do I need to get rid of the background image somehow?

    Thank you!

Hi - I am trying to model your slider on Seattle Dog - looks absulutely wonderful!

However I am not doing it correctly - no luck!

Can you please list exact steps and any widgets you used to to get the full width slider to display please?

I still want to use the "Content/Sidebar" below the slider as you have on your homepage.

    Thanks so very much!

The form might look better if you install a sidebar into the page - just a thought.
