ParticipantOk great thank you. Of the next 4 steps can u tell me the correct order?
Install WooCommerce
Add code to functions file
Install the Connect Plugin
Click button that showed up that says INSTALL WOO COMMERCE PAGES or am I not doing that now since I'm using a Genesis theme?..
Any help with the order of above would be appreciated!!

ParticipantOk thank you that's what I'm researching on actually. Do I need to install the Genesis Connect before installing the Woo Commerce itself?

ParticipantThis is a question for Doak relating to his post #48587; (post before last)
I too am trying to integrate a Genesis child theme (the SAMPLE child theme) with Woo-Commerce. I installed the Woo-Commerce Plugin and actually activated it but got the message 'Your theme does not declare WooCommerce support – if you encounter layout issues please read our integration guide or choose a WooCommerce theme' ( I want to stay with my Genesis child theme...)
My questions are:
1. So, do I install the Genesis-Connect-Plugin NOW and then go back in and and the above code to my functions.php file - or do I add that code in before installing the Genesis-Connect plugin? I'm worried that this will cause my theme to break....
2. There is a button now right below that warning about my theme not supporting WooCommerce that says INSTALL WOOCOMMERCE PAGES. Do I do that AFTER installing the Genesis-Connect plugin or before...
Any help would be great as I really want to stay with the Genesis theme i've got going....

ParticipantThank you, I meant like for a widgetized area that I made, how can I have that widget only show up on certain pages; and I think you are saying use Widget Logic correct? Â Widget Logic works well then?
I thought maybe there was a way to edit one of the php files in some way causing the widget to only show on certain pages. Â I do understand that if you make a custom template, like a landing page then only those widgets would show up on that landing page.
