Sweet I changed it for the owl! Yes it is a pin stripe of the background, it was a block before. So much of a difference from the original agency- this is a fun theme!
Hey thanks a lot! That worked! This is the first time I've worked with the new Agency, I'm having little hiccups with the header and then that part you just fixed for me and the size of the sidebar widgets is killing me! I've been on the search for three days to figure out how to decrease them. Thanks for your help and saving the little owl's head too. 🙂
I do have a fixed header but not intentionally. It is on my list to correct. I don't actually want it to keep coming down the page when you scroll. Will the first suggestion you made make that fixed header stay at the top and not come down during the scroll? I do want the little owl to show on ipad-- I'm trying to figure out that part now. He shows on desktop and cell phone but is cut off on iPad.
I want to decrease the size of all the widgets in the sidebar not specifically to accommodate the example widget I have displayed with the 150 x 150 image. That's just posted for you to see how huge the widget boxes are with an item put on them. I want the boxes to be smaller width and height wise. Thank you in advance!

Thank you very much- that helped me fill the color in and get the whole logo to show!!!!!! That logo is far too big for the header. When I am using photoshop elements to reduce it- terrible distortion occurs. Do you know a way for me to make it smaller? The developer only gave us one size and that was for print she said. We don't know what to do.
I am so sorry to both of you. I think I have lost so much sleep trying to figure this out that I thought I disabled it--- it is now disabled so you can see the mess I have. I cant get logo to shrink without distortion. I cant get a filler to fill up all that black space and now I cant get the slider to work right either! I am so dismayed. I had this site designed by a developer and paid good money and she wiped it out when we downsized. Do upsetting.
I put the mess of a site live so you can see what I'm talking about. The logo is NOT supposed to be this huge mess on there that you will see it is. We have tried to reduce the image many different ways and it keeps distorting. All the black area around the already screwed up header is what I am talking about. Can you also tell me what to do about the size of the logo? We have spent days and days trying. So frustrating.

I am having trouble with the slider all together. It was installed and working just fine but then we took the site down and wiped everything out so starting fresh with same images and not changing any size of anything should have allowed it to come back up and it won't. The slider is there- as a thin box with X and the title of the slider next to it but images will not show up. Can someone help me. http://www.usmcfamilies.org- you will also see we are having a horrible time with our logo in the header too- we don't want it that big and its cut off, we don't know what to do with that either!
Thank you for your time but adding color isn't what I'm trying to do. I just want the image to go up there and all the black around my image to go away. I do appreciate your time though.
Bandj- I added a color to the background of the image and that did help some, thank you very much! I am still having trouble with the rest of header area being black. I did add the color code I want to the background area and still nothing. Can you tell me where to replace the code with my preferred color? I just cannot figure this out, it's been hours.
