    I have the same issue with my site using Infinity Pro. I could not find that line in the front-page js file that betsie mentioned so I don't know how to fix it. Can anyone help me?

    Thank you so very much.

    Regards,
    Lydia

    Hey guys,

    I found the solution! Use max-width instead of width in Tom's solution above, as follows:

    .header-image .title-area {
    float: none;
    text-align: center;
    max-width: 100%;
    }

    Hi there,

    I used to be able to do this successfully via the 'Genesis Simple Hooks' plugin and uploading and centering the image in the genesis_site_title Hook section. However, recently this stopped working. I tried Tom's way above but it didn't work.

    Does anyone know the solution?

    Thanks!

    Thank you so much, Victor! This is done by adding the two forward slashes in front of the line - is it correct?

    Thank you, Susan. I got as far as creating the widget but I don't know how to hook it in the spot I want. Do you know by any chance how best to do that or point me to the right direction? I'm sorry I'm new to coding but I learn quickly!

    Thanks so much.

    I figured out how to do it using the genesis simple hooks plugin. I put the text within the header right section and align it to right. By default it is placed over the navigation menu. I am not sure how to place it under the menu though... perhaps those more experienced can share their input.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers,
    Lydia

    Hi I am trying to do the same thing - could you explain what you meant by comment the line you specified? Did you mean delete it? Thanks so much for sharing this info.

    Hi Brad, thanks for your help. I have found a solution for this, simply by removing the backstretch image 🙂 Thanks so much for your help.

    Thanks, Brad but that's the thing, I have removed all padding in the home-intro div area:

    media="all"
    .home-intro {
    color: #333;
    height: 434px;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0px;
    }

    I have also matched the height to the height of the slider, but the slider still moves kinda independently from the home-intro div area. I would like to be able to have the slider match the size of the home-intro div area and adjust responsively so that there is never a gap anywhere and whatever device we view it from. .. if it is possible at all.

    Thanks again for your help.

    I found a slider plugin that allows full-width functionality - master slider, however, even though it's responsive, the size does not match the container (ie. the home intro section). This should temporarily work but if someone could help me with some suggestions on how to fix so that the size adjust accordingly, that would be great.

    Thanks again.

    Yes, I want to use that section as full-width sliding images. I tried a few plugins that says they have banner slider options but none covers the full width.

    Thanks, Brad.

    Yes the front page - home intro widget area. I have a slider going now using Genesis responsive slider but it doesn't allow the images to fill up the full width.
