"Or" my aching eyes! I did not write that page but you have eagle eyes, thanks. I will fix it.
I will wait to hear from the iPhone 6 owner before making these changes so that I have a valid experiment. I will report as soon as I hear. Thank you, I appreciate your assistance. One thing that concerns me though is the change in the actual child theme CSS file. If there is an update I will likely lose the change. Is the problem related to using JetPack custom CSS? I can easily create my own and load that to Genesis.

ACEkinParticipantThank you Tom. The title area and widget area were allocated 300 and 720 pixels respectively. I added 300 to the first and subtracted 300 from the second to make the title spread on one line. Apparently the behavior of the responsive theme is not allowing that. I replaced the CSS snippets with what you provided but that is not changing the behavior of the title area which used to wrap and still does. I will leave that part alone, the way it was written by the coders until i find a solution that allows extending the title to one line. I have not yet asked someone to look at it on an iPhone 6, I will report after I get it checked.
I could not find the typo in the sentence, even the spell checker in WordPress edit screen did not report anything. But thank you for making me check again.

December 20, 2015 at 1:55 pm in reply to: Suppress featured image on single posts, Streamline Pro #174414ACEkinParticipantBrad, I figured out a solution using CSS. I added the following to the custom CSS file and the problem is fixed:
.single .post-photo {display: none;}
With that in the CSS the featured image does not show up on the single post pages. I should have studied the class structure differences between the home and single post pages earlier.
Much simpler and less dangerous than editing the functions.php file.
I do appreciate your chiming in and guiding me along the way.
My suggestion to make this a configuration option still remains.

I want to keep those but suppress the featured image when a single post is displayed. To make sure I am talking about the same thing, the function I commented out begins with the comment line on line 99
//* Add post image above post titleWas that the function you meant?
Thank you for your guidance and assistance,
For the StudioPress team, may I suggest this as a configuration option in the Theme Settings window?
Cemal
ACEkinParticipantYes, indeed! I changed the handling of the images in the Lightbox Effect in NG Other Settings from "Try to apply to all images" to "Try to apply to images that link to image files" and that behavior disappeared. I will also report this on the NextGEN site. Thank you again,
Cemal
ACEkinParticipantThat is what I thought, but why the entire screen capture including the parts that are not displayed? I will try disabling the FancyBox effect and see what happens. I will let you know. Thank you,
Cemal
ACEkinParticipantDuh! My age is showing!! Thank you for the reminder.
Cemal
ACEkinParticipantThat simple! Thank you very much for the pointer. It worked like a charm. I called it "Site Map" and it displays the recent posts as well as the page structure.
Cemal
ACEkinParticipantThanks Brad, it worked like a charm. This should be a selectable option in Genesis. I'm all set, thank you. Here is my link to verify:
http://www.keptlight.com/I have upgraded to Magazine Pro and Google Webmaster Tools microcode section validates without any errors, very cool indeed!

ACEkinParticipantBill, I DO appreciate your taking time to say a few words so that, as you say I would not feel like I was talking to myself. I gather the answer to the categories was as you articulated but wanted to make sure I was not overlooking something. I ended up writing a support ticket a few minutes ago and now waiting to hear from SP.
Thank you,
Cemal
ACEkinParticipantAm I posting these questions to the wrong section of the forum? Having no response from SP for over 5 days is a bit discouraging. Where else may I post my questions and I have a couple of more of that.

ACEkinParticipantAnybody home?
Cemal
ACEkinParticipantI have an indirectly related question, I am trying to format the .slide-excerpt class which seems to be controlling that. However, it seems to be written on the fly as an in-document style by a mysterious hand! I added the properties for that class in the AgentPress CSS file with the !important added at the end but it is not honored. Would you happen to know where that style is coming from and how to override that? The test site I am building is at:
Thanks
ACEkinParticipantThank you Tony, it was more a curiosity question than a must have. I will not pursue it.
