Thanks! And yeah... no assigned class to the body element. Word of caution to anyone using the genesis sample theme and wanting to make it super versatile! I should have known but it's been a while since I built a wordpress site.

I didn't get to figure this out yet - I have a feeling that it is more difficult to do with Genesis and it might not be worth the time. For now I am just using a specific featured image for those few posts that I wanted it on.
