TASK: Emergency Help Dynastywealthpartners.com
WHAT WE DID:
It seems there is some corruption of files happened.
Downloaded the latest version of Latest theme from your other site and uploaded Genesis Theme to Dynastywealthpartners.com
Tried Logging In and it now works
What that worked great. Who would have thought that Genesis had this integrated into it!
Thanks, I was able to find the search function on my FTP program and found the home.php. Changing the name did the trick!
This is what I want to do I think:
Another common home page is the “Blog” style home page. This shows your latest posts
on the home page and requires no additional setup for most of our newer themes.
If your theme does not default to a blog style home page and uses a custom home page
but you would prefer to display the latest posts in a blog format, do not use the blog
template. Instead, you should rename the home.php file to home-old.php via FTP or a
web based file manager provided by your host.
Not sure where to fine the home.php file though?
If I set it to static page, then direct it to the "blog" page, you can't to the next page of posts when you click next. I'm not understanding if I have the setting set to front page settings : Latest Posts, that the latest posts don't show up.
I realize how to put the latest blog posts on the home page. My trouble is how to get the template in a page. I don't guess there is any whay to do that by using the "featured posts" widget?
My Front page now has featured pages.
I want to set my front page as the blog page.
I would like to have another page setup that looks just like my front page with the featured posts so I can post a link in my menu to that page.
I have it set as you posted but there is no "read more" on the posts.
at the end of the posts there is [...] but it's not hyperlinked.
