    Hi there,
    I have a z-index issue happening with the sixteen nine theme.
    you can see the issue here:

    When you click on the side primary menu, the expanded horizontal sub menu goes behind the photos from the gallery on the content page. I also see the same issue on the homepage with the divider line with blue accent between two paragraphs of content. that appears on top of the menu when I scroll down. I can not seem to fix it. I contacted the gallery plugin as well, although I realize this is a theme issue rather than envira gallery issue because it occurs on the homepage as well..... They could not figure it out either. Any css gurus out there that can assist?

    I think it is because the gallery image is positioned absolute, and it is positioned lower in the page. So it has a higher stacking order than the site-header. Giving the site-header a z-index of 1 or higher should fix it. See example below.

    .site-header {
    z-index: 1;
    }

    I'm not a CSS guru, more of a jedi 🙂

    .site-header {
        z-index: 1;
    }

    .envirabox-wrap {
      position: absolute;
      top: 0;
      left: 0;
      z-index: 988020; }

    All through the css for Envira there is very high z-index values (in many locations) and the sub-menu is 99. Try a very, very high value on sub-menu in your style.css.

    Thanks Carasom. The site-header z index of 1 solved it. It's not just Envira that was the issue, other elements were an issue as well, so it had to do more with the theme css rather than envira.
    We are good. Love this forum!! thanks again everyone
