    Hello,

New to WordPress. I'm currently creating my blog site and I was wondering if there is any way to make the Header Background Transparent?

I've tried a couple of different solutions but none seem to work.

    Is this even possible?

Attempt number one called for editing the Site Header section in the Style.css file to change the "background-color" setting to transparent. The next called for using the RGBA setting to change the Alpha Channel to 0.

Neither one of these suggestions worked.

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your advice and Suggestions

    Darryl

Changing the .site-header background-color to transparent does what you expect. It makes the header transparent. You will then see the .site-container color through the header which is also white. It only seems like its not working because you're still seeing the white.

    Thanks for responding back Victor.

Ok, I modified the background color in the .site container section. After thinking about your response I understand what's happening. I'm just not seeing what I expect.

Anyplace else where the background color can be hiding? It's also possible that I'm not doing something correct from a syntax standpoint.

    Thanks Again,

    Darryl

I have a logo image in the header that I would like to show against the background image.

Using design palette I can change the color, but I'm trying to get it floating on top of the image.

I'm new to this so my terminology may be incorrect.

    Thanks,
    Darryl

Can you provide a link to your site. Out of the box, Metro Pro isn't using a background image.

My site currently is not live..
I have set a header image and in the header right section I have a image in a text box widget using a html pointer to the image file.

I was just able to get back to this and now I have the header and the content area is transparent.

It seems as if the page doesn't fully reload (Read the style.css file) when you refresh the page. I may just table this Mod until I get a better handle on how everything works

    Regards,

    Darryl
