    Hi,

    I'm new to using this configurations of Genesis+Dynamic theme. I also have Visual Composer loaded.

    Problem: Can't get temple or page set right to display Woocommerce categories in a widget and stay when I go to product pages and back.

    I did get it to show at one point, but somewhere I broke that and haven't figured out where just yet. It's been an all day process correcting some issue that the guy I hired to "enhance" my site.

    Thanks in advance for any information you can give to point me in the right direction.

    The first thing I see is that you do not have Genesis Connect for WooCommerce on the website.

    But I do see categories in the sidebar.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I didn't see any setting for Woo in Genesis, let me guess. Plugin?

    I will do some digging on that, thanks for the information.

    I edited the shop page to add the categories in but they only show on that page. The store items shown by WooCommerce in at the bottom. It was a test I did late last night.

    Genesis Connect for WooCommerce is the plugin that helps establish the shop page. Since you are also using Visual Composer there's a possibility that there is a conflict between that page builder and the theme settings, Genesis or WooCommerce. If your widgets are not staying, there is also a chance that the widget area that was created is has the same name as another widget. You should have the person you hired take a look at that.

    Now that I am on desktop, you are also using Dynamik. I see the sidebar has been removed with CSS. Since you are using various plugins like VC and Dynamik, I'd suggest joining one of their Facebook groups to assist you with troubleshooting.

    .woocommerce .sidebar {
        display: none;
    }

    Bingo, I was just looking for this when I took a short break. That did the trick, now just a little cleanup and adjustment in CSS files to get formatting cleaner.

    Thanks for all the help and pointing in the right direction.
