    Hello,
I'm baffled by the order of my product page breadcrumbs. I thought this might be a product category issue, but I can't seem to find any difference in how the content was entered.

    Here's what is going on:
For the product "Body Butter" the breadcrumb trail is:
Home > Body Care (set at the default cat option) > Body Butter (set at product cat option) > Basil-Marjoram Body Butter. This is how I want the bread crumb trail to be. Here is the link: https://livingearthnaturals.com/shop/basil-marjoram-body-butter/

However, the next Body Care product line, Body Cream, has a breadcrumb trail like this:

Home > Body Care > Basil-Marjoram Body Cream.
    https://livingearthnaturals.com/shop/basil-marjoram-body-cream/

It completely skips the sub-category of Body Cream. I've triple checked how each product category from parent down to product and they are set up exactly the same.

The only difference that I see is on the All Products "product listing" page. Where it shows what categories each product is in, the Body Butter is listed as: Body Butter, Body Care.

And for the Body Cream, it is listed as Body Care, Body Cream.

I've added other products within the same parent category and this has happened as well.

Some have the product listed first and some have the parent category listed first -- and it seems to impact the bread crumb trail.

When the product is listed first, the breadcrumb trail is correct.

What's baffling me, is that I have input these products in the same way, every time. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I need the trail to be Category > Sub Category > Product.

Thanks in advance for any insight. Candace

Breadcrumbs are displayed based on your WordPress permalink setting. WooCommerce has its own permalink settings. Try adjusting them.

Thanks for your reply Victor. I did adjust the WC permalinks to the following:
https://livingearthnaturals.com/shop/product-category/sample-product/ (it displays as a custom link: (/shop/%product_cat%/)

Unfortunately, that did not change the way the body cream breadcrumb trail displays -- it is still missing the sub-category "body cream" in the trail.

I'll keep searching -- but if you have any other ideas, let me know. Thank you.
