I need to set up a dual-language site, English and French, that includes a Woo Commerce shop. The theme I am opting for - Gallery Pro - is styled for Woo, but I am not sure how to go about the multilingual part of the site, pages, post and the shop part. I think I need WPML plus another plugin - Woo extension.

Can anyone advise on the best route to achieving this and also on how techie it will be for the end user? And / or point me to useful tuts and resources on doing it. Thanks.

You need to install WPML and WooCommerce Multilingual.
    Just follow WPML instructions.
If the Gallery Pro child theme is properly prepared for translation you'll be fine.

WPML recently published a tutorial on how to translate websites build with Genesis child themes

How to translate Genesis Framework into different languages using WPML

Thanks Morten for your help. I found that Gallery Pro is 'translation ready' so I am assuming the core theme files can cope with the WPML + Woo install. I'll take a look at the tut you sent the link on - much appreciated. Thanks!

When Gallery Pro is translation ready you can use the WPML string translation module to translate front-end text strings if there are any.
Other than that it is straight forward.
