Does anyone have any tips for how to do this? This is my first site and it's over my head. I've been researching for hours and I could use some guidance.
The site is here. Pardon it's ugliness. It lost all of its design settings during a crash today caused by the Jetpack plugin. It's been a fun day.
The client paid for a MLXchange RETS account through Miami Association of Realtors. They offer no tech customer support. The link they sent me was this and I have a username and password. The link doesn't seem to do anything. I'm not sure what to do with it. I am assuming I install a plugin and get a feed from it to import their IDX?
The rep for the Realtor association told me to look into the plugin dsidxpress. It gets bad reviews. Also I see other designers using this theme recommending IDX Broker. Both plugins require paid monthly memberships. I don't want to recommend one to the client until I know which one to use. Or how to use it.
Thanks in advance.

August 13, 2015 at 2:22 pm #162294Source StudioMemberYes it is me! Thank you for your help - again! I am almost there. I am having a hard time centering everything in the middle. Any suggestions?
I find it odd there aren't more resources on styling this.

"I find it odd there aren’t more resources on styling this."
Yeah, every IDX provider is different, wildly different on styling 🙁 IDX Broker is probably the toughest to style but it has a lot of other backend features that are beneficial, so often its a trade-off. Their support is responsive if you wanted to contact them for anything.
No magic sauce for mobile, gotta get in there and dig around in the media queries to see what to adjust.
Yes, that centering is the key, have a look at one of Jackie's sites, sallydewan.com comes to mind, and Inspect Element on the IDX Quicksearch form entry, I believe the center alignment is specified there. That's also a good site to see how she did the media queries for mobile. That's how I learned too! 🙂

August 13, 2015 at 3:01 pm #162302Source StudioMemberAwesome. So would I make mobile changes in the Jetpack CSS editor or directly in the theme's CSS? I am just learning how to customize themes.

I'm where you were a few months ago. This will be my second Genesis website. Now that you've gone through the process, are there any tips you have with working with the Winning Agent theme or the IDX integration?
Thanks!
