Widgets don't show up in sidebar

Hello, I have been spending hours trying to fix this with no luck. I have one site in english and one in French. They are identical except for the language. I use the Agent Press two theme,

On both sites, on the blog home page and on each post page, you get 4 widgets in the lateral sidebar on the right. They are Google Search, Subscribe2, Almost All Categories, and Sitemeter. I use Genesis Featured Widget Amplified and the settings are the same for both sites: ' 'Show Widget for everyone'', ''Hide on check'' and nothing is checked.

On the English site, you also see the 4 widgets in the sidebar of the archive pages for any category that you click on.
However, on the French site, when when you click on a category, the resulting page (archives pages for that category) doesn't show the sidebar contents .

Every setting is the same as far as I can tell, but I must have missed something because it doesn't make any sense.

EDIT: I just noticed that the 4th widget, Sitemeter; doesn't appear at all on the sidebar in any page in French.

Well, I found the problem. My Categories were each set to ''default sidebar'' instead of ''Blog sidebar'' on the French site.

Now my only problem is that the Sitemeter widget won't appear in the Blog sidebar at all on the French site, even though it is the same text widget as the English one.
