    Hi,

I need suggestions for a free plugin or widget mod that will allow me to create something that looks like a cross between a portfolio (multiple listings on a page) and author bio (a picture and text that can include a hyperlink)...one page would have staff pics with a snippet of info about them and links to more detailed bio/their resume, another page would have pictures of our projects and a snippet of information, with the link to a page detailing a specific project (1 project per page once they click thru).

I don't want to just list these, some kind of grid would be much more interesting. It would be helpful if these were the same plugin, but they don't need to be.

    Thanks!

Types comes to mind https://wordpress.org/plugins/types/ basically you want Custom Post Types with relationships (parent / child relations) defined. If you can write the display templates, you're all set and free.

If you can't write the displays, their Views plugin will do it, but not free.

Learning Types is really powerful no matter what, although it can all be done via code without the plugin, it makes it easier.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will check into it. I think I know enough to be dangerous but how long it will take me is another thing....thanks for the reply!

If anyone has any suggestions that are easier, I would appreciate ideas!
