Whitespace PRO add "…" to home page widget

Hello,

I am using Whitespace PRO at http://chantalraymond.ca, and as you can see in the home page area where I am displaying three pages from the website, the excerpt abruptly stops.

Can someone help me determine how I can add "..." after the excerpt. I think this would look better!

Sorry, that your post wasn't responded to sooner.
The posts on this forum are mostly answered by volunteers and sometimes questions get pushed out-of-view.

This should do it:

add_filter( 'get_the_content_more_link', 'ch_show_ellipses_after_content_limit' );
/**
 * Show ellipses after the content limit
 *
 * @return string
 */
function ch_show_ellipses_after_content_limit() {
    return '…';
}
