White space between menu and content

So before I give up completely on this framework, I'll make one last ditch attempt at this.

Where on earth is the setting or code to remove the white space between the site header menu and any block I place that appears underneath the site title?

Using the "Hide title" tick box leaves me with this huge white bar along the top under the site header menu.

Every other theme I've used does not have this issue, and it's the most frustrating thing I've ever experienced in using one.

Underneath the Hide Title tick box select Template then Full Width instead of Default template.

But then I changed the color of the space and the issue got solved.

Appreciate this thread is old but I have the same issue, is there a resolution and is this a common, well known issue related to Genesis/Gutenberg?

Was excited to get going with Genesis but soon discovered this issue where the page title container appears to maintain the white space between the menu on first block?

Thoughts welcome,
