Does anyone know more specifically what "taxonomy term meta data" might get lost if you update to WordPress 4.3 before updating Genesis? I'd like to know what I should be checking on client sites after the update to be sure nothing got lost.

I have sites that have already auto-updated to wordpress 4.2.4, now I am concerned about updating genesis without entailing more work of some reconstruction, any advice?

I've updated over a dozen sites without any issues. The changes in this version of Genesis are in preparation for WordPress 4.3.
