    Looking for feedback and advise please.

    Client's site is currently at https://bushcraftsurvivalaustralia.com.au and is a mess - I've taken it over and am now rebuilding it at https://bushcraftsurvivalaustralia.com.au/test/ He wants a cleaner look and asked me to do similar to his competitor but now he's decided he wants a slider right across the top of the home page and then a sidebar under that. Do we have any themes that do that on the home page? I'm thinking I might have to steer him to sidebars only on the other pages but not the home page. What are your thoughts please?

    I really think you should use Mai Lifestyle. It's really flexible. It's updated, accessible-ready, mobile-friendly and can do what you want. The provide good support too. The theme is one of the StudioPress third-party themes too.

    Ok, thanks Anita, was hoping to use one of the themes I already have a licence for, but I'll go check it out anyway. Kathie.

    The theme you are using is very outdated. You should consider purchasing newer themes or even the Pro Pack so you have access to all of them and future ones.

    I do have the Pro Pack which is why I have access to the older ones and the new ones. I tend to look for one that's close to what they client is asking for and sometimes it's an older theme.

    The theme I recommended - Mai Lifestyle is in the StudioPress Pro Pack. It's a third party theme you have access to. Your do pretty much anything with the themes. But you really want to use themes that have been updated. For example accessibility and to use the block editor. The really older themes like the one you are using now is neither. But whatever you think is right for the client is your choice but I'd never use something that outdated.

    Ok, thanks, I don't like the block editor and much prefer to use the Classic Editor. But do appreciate your points and yes, I do have Mai Lifestyle in my downloads list.
