    Hi
I'd like to add a search form after the header using php.
Can someone please supply the code.
I'm not using a sidebar so a widget is unsuitable
I'm planning to put it on the right of the page with css

    thanks

Try this tutorial which enables you to add a custom widget area after the header which you can then populate with the search widget.
