I was developing a site using genesis beta-2 and a child theme based on the provided starter one. I just got the final version of genesis-2 and a bunch of my styles stopped working. I realize looking at the code that it is no longer using
<header> etc html5 tags. I changed the top info in my child theme's style.css and functions.php to make sure they reference version 2.0.0, but that didn't have any effect.
Not sure what's going on!
I figured it out :p
add_theme_support( 'genesis-html5' )
add_theme_support( 'html5' )
Didn't catch that when I skimmed for changes.
Are there any other changes like this I may want to be aware of?
Some other things I ran into:
.home-page class is no longer there. it's now just .home
site inner doesn't have a wrap by default.. it has .content-sidebar-wrap now
