    What website technology is this website using? It's not WordPress, but it's very fast. Not sure if its speed comes from the underlying development platform or the servers, which appear to be GoDaddy.

    Yes, I saw that too, but I've never heard of Windows ASP.net. Is it a platform like WordPress or just a programming language? Do companies like SquareSpace or Wix use this technology? And why is it so darn fast, as compared to WordPress?

    It's a development platform somewhat like WordPress but based on .NET rather than PHP.

    I didn't find it that fast particularly considering how simple it is - imagine a WP theme with the plugins stripped out and only a single image on many of the pages. GTMetrix and pingdom aren't impressed either.

    It's making a bunch of bad requests to the server as well.

    You'd expect it to paint fast given how light it is, even with the render-blocking scripts in the head.

    Thanks everyone. I appreciate all of your comments. And yes, I hadn't given consideration to the fact that it's stripped down. That's a very good point. 🙂
