    Hello!

    I'm using Balance Child Theme and JetPack plugin. I tried to post pictures in titled gallery (by JetPack) but the gallery width is 500 px by default while as I need to 'strech' it to 620 px (because Balance Child Theme content width is 620 px).

    Jetpack plugin's support suggests (here http://jetpack.me/support/tiled-galleries/) to define a specific $content_width value by adding the following code to the theme’s functions.php file:

    if ( ! isset( $content_width ) )
        $content_width = 620;

    Is it a good solution and is it safe?.

    If yes, where exactly should I place this code? - Would the very end of the functions.php file be O.K.?

    Thank you in advance!
    Tanya
