    1. You can try and do the work yourself and report back here when you get stuck.

    Or

    2. Search for a tutorial which shows you how to do this.

    Or

    3. Hire someone to work it out for you.

It's not a simple tweak or modification. It would require a considerable amount of experience, modification and testing to complete this type of customization.

    4. Another option is to find a genesis child theme which already includes this functionality.

I assume you want to use a slider or video as a background to a widget area rather than a image?

    I find your question offensive.

Brad gave you a "real answer" with four different options.

Changing to video or slider (which in itself is quite a difference in terms of the required code) does not just involve a few lines of code.
I consider it out-of-scope for free help on this forum.
Maybe somebody else will chime in and provide you with the information.

You can find paid tutorials on Brad's and Sridhar's sites. There might be a free tutorial out there somewhere.
If you consider those too expensive, there is a user here with the handle William who offers Genesis customizations for $9.99 an hour.
Here is his profile http://www.studiopress.community/users/agent007/ and this is his website http://001020.com/
