I understand that there is an update coming to the theme that I hope will help improve Google's Core Vital scores, in particular CLS on mobiles

One of the other problems that Lighthouse shows for the theme is Ensure text remains visible during webfont load. Its recommendation is to use the CSS font-display:swap property.

However, as the theme doesn't currently use @font-face CSS property when defining the font-family (it is using legacy methodology before @font-face was adopted), I would request adding the ability to use the font-display:swap

This is the community forum and isn't monitored by StudioPress. If you'd like to make a suggestion for an update to one of the themes, you should contact StudioPress directly.

Thanks for the clarification. I will submit yet another ticket then.

I'm honestly surprised that a community forum linked to by Studiopress isn't at least monitored by them.

However, perhaps adopting current standards is also something the community here could endorse, whether it monitored by the site that linked/hosts this community or not.

There are volunteer community moderators here but no one in an official StudioPress capacity as this is the community forum. Any suggestions users have for the products need to be provided directly to StudioPress this way it goes directly to them.
