    I want to use the featured image as a banner on each page. I'm using Genesis Simple Hooks to insert the following

    <?php $image_id = get_post_thumbnail_id(); ?>
    <?php $image_url = wp_get_attachment_image_src( $attachment_id );  ?>
    <div id="featured-header"><img src="<?php echo $image_url[0]; ?>" alt=""></div>

    However While I get the div appearing where I want it I have no actual image, can someone suggest what i've done wrong?

    The issue is obviously in calling the image URL (if I replace <?php echo $image_url[0]; ?> with a hard coded URL it works fine) but I don't know enough to figure out why it's not working.

    Thanks.

    Nevermind, forgot to tick the option to use PHP in Simple Hooks 🙂
