I upgraded to Wp3.8.1, am using Genesis theme 2.0.2, and upgraded to newest version of PHP.
My problem: I have been using theme setting content-sidebar with three footer areas since day one. Today, as I was working on placement of widgets my footers were gone. I checked on Safari with my ipad, Chrome on a desktop windows, And Firefox on a desktop windows. Footers were gone on all of the browsers. I removed each plugin and checked and didn't find the problem. I have been looking for a plugin to set them and did't see one. I am not comfortable in messing with my stylesheet or CSS. I also changed theme settings to see if that could force the footers to show, but no matter which I used, it put everything in a right sidebar. Even message that the secondary sidebar would show there. I removed all widgets from footer ares ( in widgets screen they were showing as being in the correct footers). My widgets from footer one were thrown at the end of my primary sidebar, widgets from footers 2-3 just didn't show. What else can I check? Has anyone have this happen since the WP update to 3.8.1? Sorry for being so long, but I wanted to be specific. Thxhttp://www.marilynstreats.com
You're missing a few ending
</div> tags and those are throwing your sidebars and footers out. The missing tags should be closing the wrap div. The missing tags might be needed in sidebar widgets if you haven't edited theme files directly.
