I just updated Genesis framework backend and now Yoast SEO plugin has disappeared from posts. Yoast dashboard on posts has collapsed and even if you click the tabs, it won't open up so is useless as you can't access keying in keywords, meta data etc. Did the latest update deactivate Yoast and how can I get it back?https://parfumsclandestins.com
Updated 20+ sites this morning. Many use Yoast. No issue on any of them.
What you're describing sounds more like a plugin conflict or a jQuery error. Did you check your browser's console or PHP error logs for errors?
Thanks Victor, yes that could be the reason. Yoast whirring but not loading on posts. I am not sure where / how to review the php issue or Jquery string though.
You can examine PHP error logs through FTP or your cPanel's file manager.
jQuery errors display in your browser console. https://victorfont.com/how-to-use-your-browsers-inspect-tool/
Thank you Victor - I am on the case. I did hear of a 'better' SEO plugin than Yoast which I am exploring. 'Rank Math' - not sure about it but will investigate it.
