how can I remove underlining in words with links?

Look for this CSS in your style.css file:

a {
    color: #00c8b4;
    text-decoration: underline;
    transition: color .2s ease-in-out,background-color .2s ease-in-out;
}

Remove text-decoration: underline;

I can't tell you exactly where to find this code because of your caching plugin. After you make the change in style.css, you'll have to rebuild your cache to see the change.
