Hi there,

Since updating to the new WordPress, I am having layout problems with a sidebar showing up on my homepage when it should'nt be and never did before. I tried to update my Genesis theme but it won't work. It tries to and then says its at the most recent version but the theme info stays at version 2.2.7 and the notification saying it still needs to be updated stays up top.

I tried to update genesis manually via ftp but it causes an http error 500 and I had to restore it from my host. Any way I can upgrade to the new Genesis?

I am currently on WordPress 4.7.1
