I can't seem to find an image that works for the Beautiful theme header banner. It's a 200px high by 2000px wide banner that runs across the entire page. I don't want it to repeat or "tile"....and changing the size of the image drastically distorts it.

Does anyone have experience with this that can enlighten me?

    Gracias!

You can always increase the the height if you want. What type of site do you have? Can you provide a link?

increasing height and width makes the image fuzzy and distorts it. Do I need to take a high res photo with the required pixels (200x2000 px)?

I see that you mean. Yes, you need a larger image and size it exactly to that dimension. I like to use Picmonkey.com to resize my images.
