First off, love the Community Forum and how we can all help one another. Thanks for providing it. May I offer a further suggestion? As a user of a third party theme (purchased through StudioPress), I have periodic questions. I’ve noticed discussion on this forum regarding third party themes gets shut down pretty quick when moderators immediately direct the user to their theme's developer. Yes, that is a good place to go. But fellow users may also have an answer and perhaps time should be given to see if they can help.

Knowing StudioPress to be a reliable company, I trust the themes you sell to be well designed and usable. Along with that comes support. Unfortunately, SEOthemes does not have a forum page, thus I’d like to see discussion on its themes here - the place from which I purchased my theme.

Help for the community marketplace themes are handled by the theme's developers (or their support staff).

We don't shut down community marketplace theme discussions. We redirect them to the appropriate place for support. The threads remain open for anyone to respond to as they desire.

Many times, community marketplace theme owners get the support they need from the theme developers. Sometimes, that isn't the case and they come back here for help. If someone here can't help, we refer them to Studio Press support.

We're all doing the best we can to provide help to as many people as we can. We do this as volunteers, on our time, and without compensation.

I, for one, do not install community marketplace themes on my development server, so I'm not much help there.

There is no policy to shut down or close any threads about third party themes. You might be directed to aks the theme author for support, but the threads are not closed.
