    Are you referring to the featured image in the home top widget area? If so, there's 2 different methods both of which require custom coding.

    Yes it is correct!
    I try to add the this code in my function.php:

    include_once( get_stylesheet_directory() . '/genesis-post-widget.php' );

    add_action( 'widgets_init', 'wpsites_custom_widget_init' );
    function wpsites_custom_widget_init() {
     register_widget('Genesis_Post');
    }

    But not working, gives me a blank page. What I do? My theme is Lifestyle-Pro

    There's 2 solutions:

    The 1st solution requires you to modify the code in the widget. If you don't do this correctly, it will cause problems.

    I have make this sthep:

    Add in the function.php this code:

    include_once( get_stylesheet_directory() . '/genesis-post-widget.php' );

    add_action( 'widgets_init', 'wpsites_custom_widget_init' );
    function wpsites_custom_widget_init() {
     register_widget('Genesis_Post');
    }

    and I created the file: genesis-post-widget.php and copy the code in this post: https://wpsites.net/best-plugins/custom-genesis-featured-posts-widget-you-can-modify-safely/

    But I haven't the "Genesis Custom Post"

    Happy to point you in the right direction however you'll need to modify the code yourself.

    Copy the latest code from the featured-post-widget.php in Genesis.

    You'll need to modify the code in this file to do what you need.
