    Hello!

    I have been trying to "thicken", or make the font heavier on the menu bar here: http://taracustomhomes.com/. Don't want to change the color, but just need it to stand out a bit more. I have changed the style elements, but still not seeing any results... any help/ideas would be appreciated!

    You are using Roboto which comes in several weights: 100, 300, 400,700

    You could include the additional thickness/weights you want in the declaration which is made in functions.php

    and then specifiy that weight for .genesis-nav-menu class.

    I craft websites using WordPress, Genesis and Woocommerce.

    Thank you. Yes, what I originally did was this:

    .genesis-nav-menu {
    clear: both;
    color: #fff;
    font-size: 25px;
    font-size: 1.4rem;
    font-family: 'Roboto', sans-serif;
    font-weight: 700;
    line-height: 1.5;
    width: 100%;
    }

    I changed the font-weight to 700. However, the changes don't seem to be taking effect?

    Try

    .nav-primary a {
        font-weight: 700;
    }

    This appears to work for the menu bar on the drop downs (sub tabs), but not on the main?

    I looked again in Firefox, Safari, IE and it seems to have worked OK on both the Nav Bar and drop down. Then I checked it on Google Chrome and , alas, it doesn't seem to have worked properly there. Idon't know why yet.
    I guess you are looking at it on Chrome?

    Yes, I believe so - I realized that too! It does appear to be showing in Chrome now, as it's quite 'fuzzy' =). I just went ahead and changed the color of the font. This seems to have helped!
