    I have a request to develop a site that has the ability to place ads in a sidebar. Is there a theme that lends itself to that, or can I just use a widget?

    Also, are there any recommendations for displaying ads? Pros and cons, etc.

    You use the Custom HTML widgets to add your ad code. There isn't a specific theme as this functionality is in all themes.
