I'm trying to set up a simple website (but with growth potential) with only a home page that will display a logo, some introductory text, and several audio files -- this will be a voice over website to present my demo files. The list of available themes is certainly impressive but I can't find a theme that will work for my simple application, or at least it isn't clear to this kookie which one to pick.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Of the StudioPress themes, I'd probably recommend the new Centric theme. The main page is simple and allows you to present your information in sections. Then you can have a section that links to posts containing your audio samples, along with some descriptive text to help SEO for those files.

You don't need anything with a lot of bells and whistles to it. I did a music artist website with the 411 theme - http://my.studiopress.com/themes/the-411/#demo-full. This might be just what you need for the amount of content you want to present.

Thanks to both of you! I'll take a look at both of those themes.

Some more details: We will start with a single page that will include a logo, some introductory or descriptive text, contact information, and the audio samples (don't want to ask prospects to click to get the samples 🙂 ). So, we'll start with no menu. Down the road we may add a blog, more information, etc., via a menu.
