    Hi,

Really basic question but I haven't found an answer. Using code from Ozzy Rodriguez to make a responsive menu. Directions include "Change 'prefix' to your themes prefix." This is in the functions.php.. I'm using genesis sample child theme.

    How should it be written?

FROM this: function prefix_enqueue_scripts() to function genesis-sample_enqueue_scripts ?
    another place
    FROM 'prefix-responsive-menu" TO 'genesis-sample-responsive-menu'?

Thanks for help. I guess I call myself an advanced beginner. : )

Hi Annamarie, the correct function name in this case would be genesis_sample_responsive_menu(). There's lots more info about naming conventions etc in the WP Coding Standards Handbook (specifically at https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/coding-standards/php/#naming-conventions).
