I recently upgraded because Prose was outdated. I chose the Executive Pro theme. I didn't realize it hadn't been ungraded since 2017 - that didn't show up until after I purchased it. I'm disappointed with it and frustrated. I'm not a designer but did not have near this much trouble customizing Prose.

The Genesis responsive slider is causing lots of trouble. I set it not to slide because I like that it pulls from the posts and keeps the front page fresh without me doing much. But that isn't working correctly. Does someone have an option for me to replace this slider but with the same type of functionality?

If you look at the site, what you see where the slider should be functioning is a green block and the title of my latest post. It "should" have the content on the left side with the title and excerpt and a photo on the right side.

    Thank you for your help.

    I'm using Windows and Firefox

Right now I see an image widget. Without having the Slider in place it would be hard to troubleshoot that issue.

Yea, sorry 'bout that. I have completely and utterly thrown up my hands and given up on that slider. Too frustrating. Not worth our time. Thank you for trying to help me.

It's weird that I'm not getting email notifications even when I have the box checked.

I have another question that I'll ask separately.
