I have an acf custom field (author). If that field is filled in, I would like it to replace entry-author-name in the entry-header div. This is my first experience with Genesis. I've tried adding code to the genesis_entry_header hook using Genesis Simple Hooks plugin, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas?

Is there any reason you can't use the author meta box to change the author rather than modify the post author link?
